ArtesLex lawyers have successfully represented the interests of the company engaged in the in the production of the light metal packs, within a judicial appeal against the actions of the law enforcement agencies related to the illegal seizure of the office equipment, the employees’ devices, and the accounting documents, and further arrest of such property.
This situation arose due to conducting the search of the company’s premises, during which the office equipment, documentation and the employees’ personal property were unlawfully seized. After that, the investigating judge resolved to arrest the said property.
Accordingly, we were requested to protect the client’s rights. In particular, our specialists initiated the submission of a petition to The Pecherskyi District Court of The City of Kyiv aimed to cancel the arrest of the client’s property. During the court hearings, our team presented the legal position and relevant evidences to confirm that the arrest of the client’s property had been imposed without due grounds.
As a result of the consideration of the case, The Pecherskyi District Court of The City of Kyiv has delivered a decision, by which our petition has been approved, the arrest of the client’s property has been cancelled, in which result the arrested office equipment, documentation and personal property of the company’s employees ate to be returned to their owners.
