Our lawyers have successfully represented our client doing business in software development in respect of administrative (pre-trial) appeals against the decision on imposing fines amounting to UAH 825,389.87 issued by the tax authorities.
The situation arose from receiving by the client of the decision from the tax authorities on imposing fines for violating the 180-day settlement deadline for export transactions of goods and services, established by the National Bank of Ukraine. Therefore, we were requested to initiate administrative appeals against such decision. In the course of such pre-trial process, we filed all conclusive evidences and legal groundings confirming adherence to all settlements terms by the client.
As a result of administrative (pre-trial) appeals the State Tax Service of Ukraine issued a decision according to which imposing fines against the client was declared illegal, and the decision of the tax authorities on the said fines was cancelled.
